One of the huge issues 2K has had over the years is majority of backups were majorly underrated. There isn't much separating starters and backups. Closing the gap makes things far more realistic.

Gobert was 52 Overall last year, the lowest rated NBA player. He then produced at this level:

12.9 PER (434 mins)
13.1 ORB% - DNQ (would rank 6th in NBA)
28.5 DRB% - DNQ (would rank 5th in NBA)
7.4 BLK% - DNQ (would rank 1st in NBA)

Does this sound like the worst NBA player to you?
Or 30 points worse than the ghost of Danny Granger?

i have a feeling theres going to be a logjam of 78-85's, im talking maybe a hundred +

but it really doesnt bother me, im not a fan of OVR for determining anything but starters vs bench anyways

There has to be 300 players rated between 80 and 90

the lowest ranked player in the NBA is a 64.
The highest ranked is a probably Lebron (95 - 98)

most players will be in the 70s
