2k15 console/PC

Serious question here..

I've never been much of a gamer, outside of sports games, therefor I have never owned a gaming PC..

Is the PC version of the game just as good/the same as the console version? I'm somewhat inclined to get a PC and the game simply because I love the customization and the classic roster capabilities..

Can someone explain the benefits or lack of benefits with getting the PC version? I always see comments like "if only we could do that on the console" which has always made me believe the console version was just much better.. I just wish to be informed from someone who knows more about it than I.

2k15 will be the same exact game as the consoles on pc. The benefits is always the modding possibilities. That's pretty much it, but obviously mods are a big deal because they can make such a difference art was or adding teams.

A dev said in one of the threads that the PC version will be the same minus one feature. Never said what it was, though

Isn't PCs more for offline gamers due to the fact that most people have consoles?

In the past, the PC version has been very limited modes/feature wise, but the modding community makes a lot of areas in the game better. Supposedly this year's PC version will be the same as the consoles, though. I would say just wait for a few reviews to come out for both and see if it's true.

Tell that to the countless FPS, MMO's and MOBA's.

2K online for NBA games is non existent....not sure how it is this year but I doubt the online servers got an upgrade.

Could be, but that's exclusive for the first month on PS4.

Pretty much every Game is a better Experience on PC. First of all obviously the Graphics. You can get Resolution and FPS as high as your PC can handle it and then you got all your Mods (HD Faces/Courts/ENBs etc).
And you can even play with what Controller you like not matter if PS3/PS4/360 or XBoner Pad - all work on PC.
And overall PC Gaming is way cheaper. You can buy pretty much every new AAA Game on Release for 20-25€ vs 50-70€ on Consoles.

Im not speaking on other games, just this one. I was just asking. I know 200 people( a little exaggeration), who have consoles, to about 2 or 3 that play on a PC. So wouldn't it be wise to play on PC if you're mainly an offline gamer, and consoles, if you want to play online, and against your friends ?

If you have a good PC and your friends aren't on console or you don't care for online play, no reason to get it on console imo.

Non issue for me since I'm getting it for both PS4 and PC. I will play with friends online on the console while I wait for the mods on the PC version.

I don't know much about PC gaming, but can you buy a PC for the same price as a playstation 4?

This is basically what I would do. Only reason I made the OP is because I would have to buy a PC, I was basically wanting to know if it's worth it.
