J BROWN AND J SMITH of the 97-98 Lakers are once again SEVERELY underrated...

        Come on 2k!

You forgot Mike Miller. I am not liking the defensive potential of that Cav's team at all.

Edit didn't even peep that they have a little summary of the player what they are good at. I asked for something like that under the player options.

          Kyrie Irving "Offensive Superior"

Thanks for bringing my attention to this. It's an unwittingly an excellent catch.

It's highly unlikely the generics had any rating adjustments, yet the OVR rating for the SFs drops from 63 to 61 OVR. Formula was definitely modified.

I believe that may be the player's archetype (i.e. the one that generated the highest OVR).

I hope we can use the CAPS to replace those generics...

I hope so. Because westbrook was decreased, maybe for missing mos the year but hoping its not a sign of things to come for melo. need his rebounding rating accurate though.

I believe waiters is grossly overrated, unless the premium for athletic ability is that high for shooting guards.

Chris Paul? Best two way and best "pure" point guard in the league.

LBJ 98, Durant 95 and I think that the others two players with 90+ Overall are CP3 and Melo.

Duncan and others two/three players for me will have 90 Overall.

I doubt it. Ratings are calculated differently based on position.

Some constants remain, however. Excellent two-way players seem to cross into the 90's, and good all-around players that have one or two excellent skills are in the 80's.

I see Melo in the same boat with James Harden. Somewhere between 85-89 as well. Their defensive skill-set just isn't polished enough.
