There were tons of players not scanned last year, most of which have been scanned this year(CP3 and Jordan Farmar were examples of porting models over and they are scanned in 2k15).
Glen Davis, DeAndre Jordan, Jamal Crawford, and Matt Barnes(though his hair has been touched up) are obviously still not scanned.

With that said, it is possible that 2k has scanned a few players AFTER the build that is the retail version and will update some players in the Day 1 patch(like Nate Robinson and Tim Hardaway Jr last year). BUT keep in mind 2k would obviously like to have everyone scanned but there are a few exceptions that don't want to be scanned, those that haven't made themselves available to be scanned, and those who can't because of a contract(Lillard). Missing maybe 10 players out of 500 is pretty good considering the work that goes into it.

Some players decline to be scanned. It happens. You can't make a person get scanned just to appease some guy playing a videogame. Do you want 2k to kidnap these guys and make them get scanned? Use some common sense. This is a non issue

Thats right. I forgot about that. Hopefully some of the neglected players will be added then.

well, we haven't seen all the teams but it is a very good ratio. i'm just amazed that others aren't a bit surprised so many clipper players were not addressed. no big deal guys.

Well if they can't scan them the art team can at least update their faces. Glen Davis looks like the love child of Frankenstein and Shrek, and Jamal Crawford looks like a gummy bear.
