NBA 2K15 will double Madden 15 sales and go to sell 10 million copies.

NBA 2K15 will possibly sale less in the months of it's release just like Madden, since a lot ppl are on last gen and our still saving money for a new gen console and don't want to burn cash on a old gen game. Also lets not act like NBA 2K14 next gen didn't leave a sour taste for most ppl.

I was not aware either. I do not usually pay attention to those numbers. I knew 2K was getting popular, but not bigger-than-Madden popular. Crazy to think about. I'm not sure I ever thought they'd blow up like this. Things certainly have changed over the years.

Yes the NBA 2K series has blown up. If you had said a few years back that NBA 2K would outsell Madden you would have been laughed out of the room. It was unfathomable, but yet here we are. It's a testament to the series improved marketing and consistent improvement year after year. 2K is a game player's developer and they listen to what the fans want and they have been rewarded for that and deservedly so.

Still doesn't mean they can't bring in even more guys for 2k16 if the sales increase enough to boost the budget further.

The reason 2K was able to hire dedicated fans from the community was because how well 2k14 sold so it would be easy to assume if 2K15 sells just as well they will have even more resources to throw it's way.

I think with all the games coming out this fall, more people will start buying next gen systems.
