On PS4 I had to buy it from a US account AND change my system settings (time zone) to somewhere in the US - this changes the timer with 3 days.

Yes i did that big mistake.

Do you think if i create a US profile now it will work?

Im from Germany, game just unlocked for me. I preordered on indian store for ~35€, activated my old us account on my xbox one and set system settings to US and also time zone to central american. Both NBA 2k15 and Alien Isolation unlocked 5 minutes ago.

Iv done the same on xbox one downloaded on my uk account but changed region to usa and now says playable from 10/7/14 12:01 edt fingers crossed it works

Hey neaty89, two things :

1) where do i change region in the xbox one?
2) PLS tell me if it works

go to settings then system then select where it says uk and change region to usa

ive changed the store to u.s can i buy it on the u.s stall and play it when it unlocks midnight your time which is 5:00 over here.and will i be able to change back to my store afterwards?

Didn't work for me, it was saying like i had to buy back the game,,
