Can play the game OFFLINE if change the date of xbox or ps4

Guys,

around the internet somebody is saying, if you downloaded the game by the marketplace and while OFFLINE you change the date of your xbox one or ps4 you'll be able to play tje game offline.

Anybody tried to do it?

I have the game pre-ordered on PS4. My preload hasn't started yet though

I will try this for sure, but one would think Sony/Microsoft would make sure this wasn't possible!?

Well, I've downloaded 95% of the game, when it's over i will try too

I'm pretty sure we'll just be staring at the 2K15 logo for another 2 days, so it's no biggie. IF guys find a way in my download better start NOW!!!

can't figure out how to change date on xbox one. can set time zone but not specific date

Name

The preload starts sometime Sunday, which is what was said on the PS Store and on 2K's help page.

It just didn't start yet, that's wtf is going on.

Boooo. What did it say when you tried??

When I clicked on it, it tried to go to the marketplace and then gave me an error message because I was offline. I tried changing the date to Oct. 7 and Oct. 12, and restarted my system each time with no luck.
