Internet required to install or play?

Idk if this is the right place to put this, and maybe I should put this in the Q&A but is internet required to install the game to the ps4 if I have a physical copy? And does gameplay require internet? I have no internet in my household except for my phone but limited. So I was wondering if being online is a huge requirement. Please help!

You should be able to install the game itself to the hard drive if you have a physical copy. You need Internet access to install the game's patches, though. You can play quick games and MyLeague offline, but I'm not sure about MyCareer and MyGM. MyTeam, MyPark, and online quick games definitely require Internet access.

I really hope mycareer isn't online. I hope they allow you to change accessories and whatnot without internet. In 2K14, I went the whole season with generic shoes because I couldn't go online... But thanks for the answer!
