Re: NBA 2K15 Classic Teams Full Roster List

What kills me is that a Team like the 2000 Lakers is not put into the game. They have so many of the players still licensed, it's not like it would be difficult. Off the top of my head, Kobe, Shaq, Fish, Horry, Shaw, and Ron Harper are already in the game. It's not like guys like Rick Fox, and A.C Green would break the bank if you wanted to license them. It's Just disappointing.

Anyone know if we can edit classic roster this year?

In fact, I believe I count nine players from that 2000 Lakers team that are already present:

Shaquille O’Neal (’98 Lakers, ’95 Magic)
Kobe Bryant
Derek Fisher
Robert Horry (’94 Rockets)
Ron Harper (’96 Bulls)
A.C. Green (’91 Lakers)
Brian Shaw (’95 Magic)
John Salley (’89 Pistons)
Glen Rice (2K15 MyTeam)

In theory, it doesn't seem as though it'd take a ton of work on 2K's part to add a few more teams like this. The Lakers would need a slight tweak to their court (the championship stars would have to be removed) and some players' appearances altered (A.C. Green's jheri curl subdued) but as I said before, the manner with which 2K seemed to be able to so readily add numerous Euroleague teams would suggest that some new additions would not be a monumental undertaking, even just using rights they already own.

I broke down and purchased last night. Sadly, it is the same editing functionality as last year. No editing of ages. So you can enjoy your one season with Stockton and Malone before they retire...

But missing players can be added via create-a-player, yes? As in, one could make their own Nick Van Exel then assign him to the '98 Lakers?

Just FYI on MyTeam legends:

I tried to "buy a legend" in the mode to see if I could transfer them to offline by buying $50 worth of VC (ouch). I've used about 2/3 of the VC to buy packs and still no legends. Going to use the rest after work and will keep you posted on the results.

After doing this, I obviously agree with a previous poster: if the game sells the new legends on the marketplace, I'll buy them. I just want access to them.

I hope...Lakers and Bucks with no KAJ are useLess. At least maybe we can make a good cap for Kareem. .
