Just saw this in a twitch stream. For the second year in the row, 2k has failed to add online leaderboards. You will unable to see your friend's online record, or any other people's record for that matter.

You could see your own record in 2k14 and your opponents record as well (after you both hit start after the starting line up screen). -

Thank god. No more resources wasted on a meaningless feature that highlights unemployed cheesers.

I agree. I'm a HUGE online player. But I only really care to see my record. I also like a little stat tracking. Like some basic team/palyer stats. Highest scoring game, highest scoring player etc.Comment

I think it is terrible that for the 2nd year in a row there are no leaderboards. I never heard of an Online game not having a leaderboard. I do agree tho with Rashidi about how the leaderboards were fake for years now. For 360 for years leaderboards were based on who plays the most games to be in the top smh. Until they get the Elo system back and it becomes a skill based leaderboard then I guess it should be gone. But that is just an excuse not to have a leaderboard. True elo system with leaderboards is a must for online head to head. Im very competitive and I want to see where I rank among other people. Madden has a good rank system with leaderboards. Why 2k can't do it. Its sad that when ps3 and 360 first launched the online experience was better with 2k and college hoops. Come on 2k this is current gen, the online experience should be much better. Hopefully we can check online on a 2k website or phone app for leaderboards.Comment

After hearing about this and how the servers are horrible again
this is gonna be the first time in history that I don't buy this game
at launch.
As someone who predominantly plays Online 2K has effectively
pushed me through the door as they have no interest in not only
evolving the online world but breaking it down to caveman levels.
Goodbye 2K I never wanted to leave I hope the company gets some
some better decision makers and this game doesn't become extinct
like all the other sports games they've made.
I thought next gen technology news doors would be opened but instead
to many things are going missing and being excused as a lack of resources.
Maybe it's time to dance with the devil even though they're the least
talented of the two companies at least they try hard.
