No, its typical in next gen sports games to let you play a little piece of it while the rest downloads. Feels like they're laughing and taunting me.

The digital DL and disc take up the same amount of HDD space. The game plays off the HDD whether you have the disc version or digital.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure I have the entire game downloaded. I started it this afternoon and it's just been showing me the countdown timer all evening when I go to the NBA 2K15 app or whatever. Not sure what else I'm supposed to do to access the rest of the game other than play this pre-Spurs vs Heat game.
