Attributes, caps and badges Mycareer

Ok all i can do without the game untill Friday is plot on my own version of 'the decision'. Which position and what kind of guy am i creating?

Im soaking up attributes and caps info to plan ahead. Ive learned so far you start with 75 potential level upgrades to equip and can earn another 25 making you able to equip 100 of 120 upgrade spots.

I would like to find out where they are capped for each position. And how all the different badges are earned and stuff.

You see to me it makes a big difference to know upfront my sf might not be able to get lockdown defender or on court coach depending on stat caps Eg. If im not mistaken last year lockdown defender was linked to a stat that was capped for sf's (except for a 'defensive' sf that is) meaning you couldnt be one.

Can we get basic tips on this here and maybe try to list how important badges are earned in the first place ?
