player runs off court during fastbreak?

This happened to me multiple times. During a 2 on 1 fastbreak, after I press pass button to another team mate. I immediately hold the sprint and shot stick to attempt a dunk. In 2k14, this will execute a fast break layup or dunk in one motion. However in 2k15 the team mate just keeps running off the court? Haven't tried using the shot button yet. I feel a delay shooting with the shot stick in general also.
