Quarter Length for My League

12 minute quarters is all that I play with. Anything else would be like playing a 6-7 inning baseball game. In football I don't mind as much as long as I get a realistic number of plays, but I just can't shorten basketball or baseball games.

I play 9 mins and have a pretty tight 8-9 man rotation. I bring my 6th man in at 4:30 of the 1st. Play my bench players from the start of the 2nd until 4:30 of the 2nd then go back to the starters. Give my 6th man half of the game on the court and the bench guys a quarter of court time total. Foul trouble will change that up some but that is my basic rotation and has worked for me for some time.

8mins, not to long of a game, not too short of a game, just right for me. I dont really care too much about realistic stats, so my quarter length is not based on that.
