Wow, I can't believe we still have those people that bang on buying VC.

Personally I don't like to be god like as a rookie, but I have no problem with people that do. Plus, like you said, it is their money. Maybe their entertainment budget includes micro transactions.

Regardless, micro transactions aren't going anywhere. They are a cash cow for game makers. Which is exactly why you see those "free" to play games and apps.

And monthly subscriptions is where the industry is headed. Companies prefer a steady revenue stream over spikes.

For every character you remade you'd have to play each 10 day contract. You'd have to spend VC on the character so that when you got the contract they would perform well enough to earn a new contract. With the low VC payout of the initial three contracts it'd be more worth your time to just play MyLeague which gives 1k per game. Early on your MP only gets paid 100-300 per game, and your minutes would be too low to improve on that.

Does myteam give vc per game?

Personally i dont buy vc but i am racking up some through other game modes before starting a mc so i can give my player a bit of a headstart and build the stats a bit to his playing style.

Even if someone buys 30k vc and uses this it would just make his player go from a 65 bum to a 75 prospect and then they could play the rest.

To each his own

You know what kills me? Gear/accessories cost VC. And the prices don't make sense.

Jordans that cost 7500 VC just to wear them in the park and cutscenes?
If VC is supposed to be treated like in game currency then we are the most underpaid players in the history of the NBA. It should not take me 7 games (I'm being generous) to make 7500 VC just to buy those sneakers.

VC should either be paid in higher quantities per game or have VC only boost your attributes in MC, but pay us a separate currency (in game $) per game or week, that allows us to spend it on gear and/or other stuff (like taking the team out or buying a house, car, tv screen, etc/offscreen) instead of giving us measly rewards where we now have to play a few games just to upgrade one level of one tier.

Simulating should not give you VC, but it should pay you in the secondary payment form I mentioned above so you could buy gear and other stuff.

But of course, 2K wouldn't benefit from that idea because they would lose opportune sales =/

Who's with me on the two different currency idea?

200 x 82 = 16,400

You'd be subject to a lower second contract because of sim'd stats. Using your "abuse" method, people would have to sim for a full career only to wind up with a player with no badges and severe attribute caps. Attribute slots unlock as you play better.

I've through the first season(which starts late January for your MyPlayer) and I'm already rated an 80 with several badges and attribute slots added.

Simming would not be an advantage if people got their salaries. They'd still have to play enough to earn badges and get better contracts. For the most advantage, you'd want to buy a bunch of VC and play every single game, but even then you're talking about spending 20-50 bucks for what you could get for just playing a season and still having to play a season anyway.
I've average 450 playing bad in mine so far... you're numbers are wrong.

Because you're PLAYING the game. That's not your salary, though. We're talking about how much salary you'd earn from simming.
