Trial and error! Put it in scrimmage and make a mental note of what action is triggerd from what pass. Also try dribble entry to certain spots instead of pass entry (triangle). Final tip swinging the ball to much can cancel the action.

Actually, if you(the ball handker) stand stationary for about 2 seconds it will initiate movement in the freelance.
