Hometowns in the game code?

Has anyone else been hearing things relating to NBA Player Hometowns?

I've found multiple instances so far.

During a player intro for the Indiana Pacers, George Hill was mentioned as being "the hometown hero!"

In a Spurs at Lakers game, I've heard Steve Kerr comment on Kawhi Leonard after Leonard drained a shot. "Well, he's playing in front of his hometown, so he wants to make a good showing for his friends and family." (Something along those lines.)

I heard the Steve Kerr line again during a Knicks at Bulls game, referring to Iman Shumpert and even in an Online Quick Match of Grizzlies at Timberwolves, with Jon Leuer being the one he was talking about.

I think it's really cool 2K added this in. Has anyone else heard these occur?
