I like all the RPG elements and different options you get with the MyGM experience.

1 question on my league. Can the cpu make trades or is that not allowed?

Also, I do a fantasy draft with the Celtics so it doesn't really matter to me about having subpar CPU trade logic. All the teams have different players anyways.

Sure you can really drill down and customize things with MyLeague but I feel like you get more of a sim experience with MyGM.
Not true at all. MyLeague gives you the ultimate sim experience and was designed for that. Adjust the MyLeague sliders for trades,etc. and you have an extremely sim experience. Also you can turn on a feature that gives you total Veto power over trades keeping it very sim.

Now if you like RPG then MYGM is for you, but you just said that theres subpar CPU logic and you don't care about bad trades which is the opposite of sim, so that also proves my point.

MYGM=RPG
MyLeague=Sim NBA Franchise

Yes and no.

Benefits of MyLeague:
  • Run all 30 teams if you want.
  • Approve CPU trades.
  • More league customization options.

Benefits of MyGM:
  • Player, Coach, Staff, and other GM interactions.
  • Run the business side of your team. (ticket prices, parking, concessions, merchandise, adjust the overall budget)
  • Obtain Badges
  • Buy the team

I mean other than CPU trading there isn't much of an advantage to playing MyLeague ...atleast in my opinion. Alot of those customization options are left either at 50 or maybe 5 points lower/higher so there isn't too much variance in how the team(s) are ran. Atleast most sliders I've seen have it either at defaults or slightly different.

I find MyGM way deeper in simulation because you get to interact with everyone and run the business side too.

We agree to disagree I guess.

Think I'm gonna roll with MyLEAGUE once we get some Franchise Sliders to get the trading, injury, development and all accurate. I feel like my GM is better for you if you'd like linear goal driven gameplay and MyLEAGUE is a better if you like a brouder experience setting your own goals.

Def MyLeague. Not just the trades but the injuries! PG out, embiid out, KD now too. Adds a lot to the realism.

I really enjoyed MyGM last season and I am sure they added to it this yr but I like being able to control two teams.

I LOVE the fact that we can start the season with injuries. That's a huge plus for MyLEAGUE. Last year with LA, Chicago or Philly you couldn't even just bench Kobe, Rose and Noel for the year due to morale.
