Face Scan on Xbox 1 Not Worth It....

i have put 12 hrs into this game since I bought it Friday past.
2 hrs actually playing the game...10 hrs trying to do this face scan thing.


all the results I have seen that were good were only on the ps4.


the 2 times I actually got the scan to work, it looked nothing like me at all.
for a feature that's promoted as one of the main draw, I would've thought visual concepts would make sure this thing works.


I mean u can tell something is wrong when your face is dead stab in the middle and it won't turn green.
what I have noticed is that when your face appears on screen and everything else is black and white, it has your face. other times everything is in color and it won't track.


they should have made a tutorial for the xb1 version, because majority of the complaints with this feature are coming from the xb1 camp.


now I know 10 hrs sounds like a long time to mess with this feature, but the thought of my actual face on my created players or gm. is a mighty thing. I could easily put my info in and play, but to actually see my face it brings u even closer, than playing with a character that just has your personal info but looks nothing like you u.


not trying to rant just trying to get some help. cause the main draw of me buying this game was because of the face scan.
it's really disheartening knowing other games did this last gen without too much problems.


I really hope they put out a patch for this cause I'm really not enjoying it as much as I should be.

Took me like 5 hours to get it to work, then lost my face because of servers and had to re-scan. Ended up with a 5k reference face scan.

I thought the same thing until 3 days later when I finally got an extremely good scan and I was amazed at how much it looked like me. All these years of trying to create a player that looks remotely like me, I was thoroughly impressed.

that's good for u kokaine but I am still having problems and I have had this since Friday.


matter of fact I still kept trying after my last post. I wil keep trying till 12 this morning also after work tomorrow.


if nothing changes or gets better I will shelve this game till I hear otherwise or just trade it in.

does anyone by into the conspiracy that Sony may have made it worth 2k's time for the XB1 face scan not to work for a period of time?

Took me about an hour. Watched a few videos on YouTube and it came out looking just like me after I followed their advice.

I am also on the xbox 1.
