I remember being able to do this on last gen version is it possible to do this on this years version?

You can't edit them until they are drafted. But you can't change their hair or skin tone. If you are trying to create friends you will have to do it outside on the main menu at the creation center or edit them when the option comes up at the beginning of the season. It's kind of fun because as the season goes along. You get a Twitter saying "Created Player" went for 32 points against Syracuse.
