I'm not much of an "online" guy when it comes to 2k but decided to give MyPark a try and I can't believe what I'm seeing. Players no matter their size are just driving and dunking over entire teams no less. Is this what this mode is all about? Are there ways to stop people from just turning it into the Sprite dunk competition?

I can't defend for crap online, the laggy player movement on defense is ridiculous. Ball handler steps to the right. I press the stick in the appropriate direction, player moves almost two seconds later. The guy I was supposed to be guarding is now at the hoop...Comment

It is why the myplayer career thread and badge thread is 50% people asking about the posterizer badge.

If you don't have friends, then you take the chance that this actually happens. 2 on 2 is the worst because if they have alley oop, they oop it first thing or pass around and then oop and it's hard to defend.
I'm having an issue where I keep getting to pro 1 and it keeps saying I'm still rookie 3. I'm stuck there and not getting any of the perks, which is really crappy.Comment

More and more people are making 7'0 Small Fowards with maxed ball handling jumpshot and dunking and all they do is cheese coming down the lane doing this dumb behind back the back move that gives you a speed boost past the person then they just dunk on anyone. like come on 2k...#FreeMikeGSW

Ya....this mode has alot of potential but with EVERYBODY allowed to dunk at will without being able to make body contact is pretty much fruitless. Oh it was way worse last year where the heck were you guys ?
Those dunks basically have force fields that ignore contact and you can't pressure the ball at all it also is a magnet the dribblers hand#1 Laker fan

I am certain the park is not on simulation settings. I have not hopped on to the park yet, but when I do I plan to mainly play in the jordan rec center since it plays on simulation settings. The park has never really appealed to me. I never played it in NBA 2k14 either.Comment

Ya I never played online at all last year....so this is all new to me. It's not ALL bad I played a couple of games where guys set picks and shot the ball and it was fun, but then you have the guys that just turbo down the lane and take off from the dotted line or outside the box and just play NBA JAM."I'm so lonely....I paid a hobo to spoon with me"Comment

Lol, I love the irony. People want a mode called "The Park" or "MyPark" a simulation? Have you ever went to a park in the city to play basketball? Nobody has a jumpshot, there are no pick and rolls, and all everyone tries to do is dunk. Even the ones that can't dunk!!
I love simulation, but every aspect of 2K isn't sim. Understand that. The purpose of having the Jordan Center is for those guys who want to play real basketball. You WON'T find that in the Park lol.Comment
