MyLeague/MyGM Draft Scouting Question: "Hidden Gems"

Has anyone found any good players in the "hidden gems" part of a draft class?

With my MyLeague scout, I start the scouting season with rough approximations of a lot of players' grades but a bunch of guys at the bottom just have question marks and no information.

My caveat on my results is I have my draft class slider down to 25 to reduce the number of starter ready, 80+ guys in the average class. So that's a big-ish deal for my draft classes. (I also have player progression at 45 but training effects at 56.)

One year I was drafting very late so I decided to put scouting hours into those unknowns. The best I found was a B- potential player whose overall was about 58. In other words, a high potential very raw project. I took him mid second round but ended up cutting him for more readily usable bench depth.

I've never really fully scouted the guys who are more unknown in a draft class. So I'm curious if anyone has really ever combed through those late guys and found anyone who was a good, usable player, either with a solid overall or potential rating?
