Nice to know moving screens won't be fixed until the tourney

I love playing Pro Am and having PFs and Cs with HOF Brick Wall turbo into our teammates and walk around holding screens. So I'm taking a wild stab in the dark and surmising that moving screens will wind up like Break Starter from last year, and not get fixed until a couple days before the tournament kicks off?

Sure seems like it. That patch would be nice, but I'm no longer holding my breath.

I don't understand why they don't just keep it in for release. It's like they WANT millions of people complaining that patches ruin the game. Every single year they patch the same things, and half the community always complains. I feel like this year we won't get many game-changing patches though.

I felt screens were way too strict last year. In real life, there are non-stop moving screens in the NBA.

That being said, moving screens are occasionally called in the NBA.

nah man, it's past moving screens. It's full on, fullback lead blocks. There's a difference between not being fully set when setting a pick & dragging a defender halfway across the court in an animation.

They've released a game this year with a game breaking oversight in how basic basketball is played. Don't @ me

you're absolutely right.

but if I have to choose between not setting screens without being afraid of phantom fouls, and this, I'm choosing the way it is now.

But yeah. This game will fundamentally change once/if that "fix" is made. It's baffling how there isn't a statement on this yet.

We need a platform to teach this people how to PnR defense.

The original defender guarding the ball-handler should go under the screen and stay under the picker while the off-ball switches and wedges.

Then vice-versa if the ball-handler is zig-zagging back and fourth.

Doesn't really matter if the screener can just move back and forth along with your switch to be honest.

It's the most glaring problem with gameplay right now and was working fine last year but for no fathomable reason was removed this year.
