Best dunk animations to avoid getting blocked?

My player (6'11') has 90 standing and contact dunk, yet I get murdered every time I go up for a dunk.

Is there certain animations that have more range and guarantee a better success rate for dunks? I've been using the uber athletic set but things have been rough.

Idk about the animations but just be smart about it, pump fake people, don't try to be a dunking God. My player is 6/2 with like a 60 dunk and I throw it down all the time

Do you get blocked from behind a lot, or just basically anytime you go up?

depends on where they are blocking you from. I find the best dunks to avoid getting blocked from the front are the ones you can easily get blocked from behind (backscratchers, tomahawks) and vice versa

I get contact, which forces my player into a lay up animation instead and end up murdered on the floor with no foul while the other team runs off on a 4 on 5 breakaway.

Happened 5/6 times just today I had a wide open posterizer on a player out of position. And these weren't centers committing these murders, even short SG are messing up my attempts.

dont go for the dunks that cockback (like if you see the dunk animation pulling the ball backwards then slaming it try to avoid those kinds) and for standing dunks grab that one hander standing dunk.

That's the exact type of running dunk I have. My player cocks it back and then flushes it down with the force of a hammer.

What type of running dunk should I get instead?

Re: Best dunk animations to avoid getting blocked?

I don't use backscratchers for this very reason, it's too easy for some player to randomly jump up with their hand out and get a weak *** block. Generally most dunk blocks in this game are going to be from the front or from the side. I've had good success with windmills. The player keeps the ball so close to their body that getting a block is difficult.
