This is extremely frustrating.....Why am I in during blowouts?

I am a legit starter in my second year and yet I still play during blowouts when we're up 20-30 points. This is really frustrating for me as it ruins immersion. The most frustrating thing is that some people say they don't have the same problem.

Can I get any insight from anyone? An answer from anyone on the Dev team would be appreciated.

This happens to me as well.

Although, there was one time when my team ended the 3rd quarter up by 36 and they sat me down for the whole 4th. They really need to rest you more often. I don't want to have to play 35-40 minutes if it's a blowout.

Stan..... It should be a option to want to sit down when it's a blowout, shouldn't be that hard.

um, it's not crazy, it should be a basic feature of the substitution AI in pretty much every sports game. No one plays their stars in clear blowouts in real life, in any sport. Hell I remember NCAA football 14 had the means to sit your player in the fourth quarter in games in hand, why not this game? Surprised this feature is missing in the next gen.

You can sim to the end this year if you don't want to play.

Nah you don't. You probably have to foul out or take a three from the backcourt to get taken out by the coach.

I rather be playing than sitting on the bench watching, that would be pretty boring to me.

It's not that they'd rather sit on the bench, but they want to move on to a new game where they aren't blowing the other team out by 20 points.

I'm 10 games into my second season slotted at 38 minutes per game. However during the few blowouts I've been a part of, I've been taken out of the game with 3-4 minutes left. Would have to play more games to more accurately evaluate.

I also can't figure out how to give up some minutes for another player this year. If I replace someone that is pretty good I like to tell the coach to play them more so they don't get mad and ask for a trade. Seems you can't do that kind of stuff this year.

It's not that they'd rather sit on the bench, but they want to move on to a new game where they aren't blowing the other team out by 20 points.

This, I'm a starter, I don't want to be playing in a game that's over when I could be moving on to a new game.
