Re: Player Tendencies\Signature Style

At it's best, this game represents the superstars very well.

More often than not, role players over perform, so the gap between Trevor Ariza and Kevin Durant isn't far enough for me to give it praise over previous versions where the disparity was more clear.

When it does work, it's beautiful.

I'd disagree on more often than not, but I can feel what you're saying, especially on the higher levels. The fact that the A.I actually attempts to cross me over and pull up for jumpers lifts my praise above previous iterations in itself though...

Re: Player Tendencies\Signature Style

They are doing a great job in 2K15, no doubt. I'll be super impressed if they can nail down Al Jefferson however. The guy catches the ball, sometimes pivots to face the basket, holds it in one hand, pump fakes, double pump fakes, etc. Then he'll go back to the basket and spin away from the double teams to the baseline for the layup. He's got the shimmy, the drop step, etc.

If Big Al ever plays like that in a video game, I'll be amazed.

I'll be the odd man out and disagree. Big men are copies of one another. All of them just fade away. No head fakes or up and unders to draw fouls. Everyone just runs at the rim and shoots a pull up j. So many pull ups...it's really bad.

Size ups are literally non existent even if you edit rosters.

Just had a game where Kobe took 43 shots. Superstar/sim with 3 point tendency raised to 100 because I'd like to see the cpu take at least a dozen or so 3's. You know...for realism's sake.

So yeah, 43 shots and only 4 of them were 3's and he only went to the line for 7 free throws. No chance I'm happy with tendencies or signature styles.

Dang bro 43!? Lol... But yea man all that is true. You have to basically "butcher" the roster to get superstars to play like themselves and for role players to do their "role". I haven't even started my Myleague yet because I've been editing all freaking day lol

Haha, right? I'm just waiting for a bit now. With all of these new awesome roster updates and a patch coming, I'm just going to wait.

Nothing wrong with disagreeing at all...I haven't edited a single player...always ends up among things worse in my experience...still see some great stuff
