NBA 2K15 won't install? (PS4)

I just picked up 2K15 for PS4 and it won't install. It lets me play the Heat vs. Spurs game that you typically play while installing, but it will not start installing. I've previously owned the game on XB1 and I know when you're installing it, there is a little icon in the bottom right with the percentage of your install. There is no icon.

Any help would be appreciated.

For me, on PS4, there was no progress bar(re-downloaded twice due to server issues and such). I got it on disk, took me about an hour and a half before I could play(may vary depending on internet). Not sure if that helps but hopefully it does.

You can't play the game until the installation is complete. Otherwise, it'll just keep replaying the intro game. Go to the PS4 menu, go to notifications, and it'll show you how far along your game installation is.


It takes quite a while. I think it took like 20-30 mins for me.

I think they addressed this in a patch. When I first played the game, halfway through the 1st on Miami-Spurs I got a notification of the 2K15 update so I quit, installed that, then went and played the intro game.

No clue whether or not it mattered, but it probably prevented anything like that from happening.
