Off season progression

Apologies if this is something that has already been mentioned elsewhere. I looked through the forums but didn't spot anything.

I just finished my first season in myleague franchise. In the off season I signed several new players, notably G Green, Beverley, Scola, R Evans and R Price. All vets but Green and Beverley aren't old. Anyway, when the progression ran, they all dipped by 4 points. None of my other players really dipped, including the players I retained during free agency, and my veteran players.

Does anyone know if this is a known issue? It might just be bad luck, but the players it affected makes me suspicious.

Forgot to add, I have progression set to 45 and in season training progression set to 40, using sliders from these forums.

On default sliders, MCW dropped from a 80 to a 74 at the age 26 in my game...

I also signed Beverley and he dipped 4 points as well. Playing on 45 player progression. I don't think it's the player progression but rather the way 2K has it set up for players who are still young. No reason for ratings for drop unless players are above 30. If you increase player progression then it increases the amount of points players gain/lose.

Had you just signed him? I find it very odd that it happened to everyone I signed, but no one else.

Started with the Sixers. At the age of 30 he is a 67. Tyler Zeller is a 66 at 31. Parsons is a 68 at 33.
