Strategy questions: pick-and-roll and various defenses

Is pick-and-roll effective against a zone defense? I like to run a pick-and-roll offense against man coverage, but the CPU seems to adjust nicely by switching to a zone or otherwise adjusting its defensive rotations. I play mostly MyTeam Domination (whose difficulty level is what, Pro?).

If not the pick-and-roll, then what do you do against, say, a 2-3 zone? Lots of outside shots? Against a 3-2, work it in more?

But I love to get the ball in the middle of the High Post and go from there. Many options from that point. Especially if you have a great passer like Noah and/or The Gasol brothers.

Also, look for the wing to wing skip for some open shots. But don't settle for TOO many jumpers

He's right. Get the ball to the highpost! Most of the times this shot will be open, and for a good midrange guy this is money. If it's not open, you have so many options from there.

If you have a very skilled ball handler/ passer at PG, you can drive and look for the open player. You're trying to pull multiple defenders to you from the zone, then kick it either out to a shooter or look for an athletic SF running baseline.

High post PF or C is always a good call because that immediately pulls the extra defender over. You'll be left with the open shooter on the wing or again a driving SF.

Pick & Roll is out against zone.
