Double teaming/Triple teaming (head to head match)

People are now taking advantage of the bad passing mechanics by letting the CPU guard the ball handler then calling for a CPU player to double team the ball handler and then what they do is come over themselves causing a triple team.

What this does is take advantage of the bad passing and off ball movement. If you pass it will be either a bad pass out of bounds. A man will be open but as soon as you pass the ball to them they cut and you throw the ball directly to the defender they are cutting to, or because its a triple team theyll deflect the pass.

Sometimes you'll get the pass off but more often then not this results in a turnover.

What 2k needs to do is make it so the human has to come over and manually double team. This will eliminate the triple teams.

They won't, the my team/cheeser community would freak all the exploits disappeared. They are gonna keep some in to keep their largest market base happy.

I played online for ****s and giggles last week and experienced the double team cheese....yes it's cheese I couldn't do squat as you get stuck in a damn animation and can't move and the only option will be to pass which would usually end up out of bounds.

I could've lowered myself and use the same tactic but **** that and took the loss and vowed to never go online again.

Cheesers are always a step ahead lol. The messed up thing it is a real tactic used on the baselines but it shouldn't be automatic animation. The CPU will use it on you when you start killing with a player out of the pick and roll.

1. Does jump passing works? Shoot then pass
2. Does shooting actually work? I was thinking if two or three guys are coming at you there is a greater chance to get a rebound but if you can't shooot you are stuck in an auto turnover.

I haven't experienced it much but when I did I noticed I was stuck in the animation before the helped defender was anywhere near me

Easier said then done. The passing mechanics of this game is not that good. You will make bad passing more often then not because they'll do it on every single possession of the game.
