Memo to CPU: You can dunk it!

Dear CPU Blake/DeAndre/Rudy/Whomever,

You have an open lane. I won't be personally offended if you dunk on me. IN fact it would feel more authentic if you did. Yeah Im upset my Dirk can't defend you, but it's pretty lame to go with a soft lefty lay in.

You can't blame sliders. Ive maxed your dunk in traffic tendency and attempt dunk tendency. You dunk attribute is maxed.

Why don't you want to dunk.

I have no idea what you are seeing. I have only played around 12 games this year so far been besy catching up on sports for a little over a week and the CPU has dunked pletty of times. Now alley hops are a different issue I don't think I have seen the CPU even try 1 alley hop attempt on me yet.

That's really weird.

I see the odd dunk (perhaps 1-2 a game) but Ive been beaten by Griffin off the dribble and he always elects to lay it in. Jordan gets a pass wide open underneath and he lays it in.

Funny cause I just had a game against the Clippers in MyGM and Griffin had a sick dunk on the first possession of the game. He went on to have a great game with 32 points and 26 boards. D. Jordan also had 18 points and about 14 boards and I seen a lot of dunks from him. It was two rebound put back dunks and others where he grabbed it and went back up and dunked hard. Also CP3 throws alley hoops I think a bit to much

Speaking of alley hoops out of all the hoops CP3 threw in my game they only completed about 2 or 3, the rest my teammates blocked. My problem is after they blocked the alley hoop attempt the ai ALWAYS gets the lose ball, even on blocked shots at times. It's like your teammates become brain dead or something and don't go after lose balls like the ai do.

That's really interesting. You using default sliders and default rosters?

I just tried it on default rosters and sim sliders and saw some contested throwdowns.

That's odd HK, I play on all star sim and I see them dunk constantly....in fact I'm in a 7 game series against them with the Spurs right now...

Really interesting.

I just played a few quarters against the Clippers on default sim sliders and was seeing Blake do all sorts of stuff.

It appears that even though I had all dunk sliders maxed, and player dunk tendencies maxed, something was overriding it. I had vertical at 40 to lower blocks. Perhaps that was it.

I actually thought numerous users had this problem. ve seen it mentioned plenty of times on here.

What I really want to see is more dunks when directly under the basket. Currently it seems like guys will only do this when completely left alone. If my 7'1 behemoth collects the offensive board, he should be trying to go straight back up for the dunk, or get fouled trying. I feel if the game had Shaq in his prime he would be trying to lay everything in.
