Roster Download Question

Particularly, every year, I like to start an Association (well, MyGM/MyLeague) with the last roster right before the first trade happens. I like the updates every day, and I am currently playing a MyGM to kill time and become more familiar with the game and controls.

Now, here is my question; Are we able to pick and choose which roster to download. Like, if I wanted to use Bed's 11-06-2014 roster a month from now, can I just download that? I am not sure how these work. Help appreciated.

I will give you my understanding. If you want to use a roster, then download it and save it under a seprate name. You are then free to use that roster anytime in myLeague or myGM, as a custom roster. However, I think the 2K roster updates are over writing each other. So, if you miss the 11/6 download, you will have to use the next roster in the dayly updates we are getting.

Maybe more knowledgable others can verify this.
