    "Crash" tendency and "putbacks"

Can someone (Beds!?) please explain these player tendency ratings?

I presumed "crash" means crash offensive rebounds, but I noticed guys like Reggie Evans and Drummond are like "5 and 20". I.e. very low. So, it can't be for their tendency to offensive rebound as those two should be 99/100. Reggie Evans sole role for a decade has been to chase ORB.

Also, the putback slider seems completely broken. I put all bigs at 0 as a test and they still put the ball back up after a rebound every time.

I know this is a gameplay problem that is being patched, but shouldn't a slider / tendency at least have "some" impact?

Some of the tendency ratings this year seem to have absolutely no impact if you change them. Which kind of defeats the point of having them...

Crash means fall down. More specifically I think it pertains to frequency of falling while driving to the rim. Contact layups, etc.

Put back means tip ins/put back dunks.

        Really???

Hahah...I just presumed because it was next to put backs it had to do with rebounding.

        Thanks.

        Thanks also Begby...

Guess there is nothing I can edit to get rid of the CPU going back up after an ORB every.single.time??? Any ideas?

Already got cpu sliders at 0 in the general sliers, but nothing changes.

I changed all players to ZERO......nothing chnged. They still put back every offensive rebound. The CPU never passes out. They can have a five foot point guard get it and me have Roy Hibbert in his path....they still go back up.

The CPU can have open three point shooters on the wings....they still go back up.

If you know an edit that would fix this I would be eternally greatful

Try standing layup on a scale of 0-25 and pass out 50 notches above drive strong.

Example: a pf that only rebounds and has no interest in scoring = standing layup 0, attack 15 pass out 85, passing iq plus 65. Should (maybe) do the trick

To clarify, to flop? Or what is the purpose? Would it be generally good or bad to have a high "crash" tendency?

I definitely thought the same as the op, that it influenced rebounding.

                Thanks

Yeah their auto putback has no workaround. Ive maxed out putbacks as Ive seen a couple of tips/putbacks which is natural.

Crashing to the floor after layups in traffic is all it's used for. To differentiate guys like Wade

Hi Mike...is the auto cpu putbacks definitely being fixed in the upcoming gameplay patch?

If it is, I will just keep on playing the game. If not, I guess I will try some massive editing.

Are you able to confirm it is fixed in the patch and the CPU will pass the ball out where appropriate?

Mike will this patch work with existing mygms/myleagues?

                            Brilliant news....

This may or may not mean much to you in the grand scheme of things, but one reason I buy 2K ever year is your personal post release support. Cheers.
