layup/jumpshot gather /release

Anybody some insite on what these exactly do ?
I lowered all 4 sliders to zero for jumpshot gather/rrlease amd layup gather /release
and it feels like I contest everything manually
bumped them all to 100 and I was getting gravity put on me wenn trynna contest layups and jumpers ...this is what I experience messing with those sliders .

so for now I will leave em all 4 on zero cuz it plays just better then the sim versions

I asked this before but not many people reasbonded. The only thing I really noticed is that the lower these sliders where at the more easy uncontested layup and jump shots I saw. When I put them up higher I see more contact and more contested layups and jumpshots. When I had them at there default simulation numbers the CPU was scoring like 70-80 PIP a game and it was just way to easy for both me and the CPU to drive into the paint for dunks or layups. When I put them up some it made it harder for both me and the CPU to drive into the paint for layups and dunks and the CPU PIP went down. I think these are the most important sliders in the game. The lower you have them the higher scoring you are going to see and the higer fg% and PIP you will see. The higher you have them the less PIP you will see and you will see less points over all and lower fg%.
