Game to game variance.

I've been playing a lot of My Career but now i started playing MyGM and I am not seeing much game to game variance.

What I mean is, even on back to backs it's not uncommon for my team to score 100+ points.

I have never, even with *excellent* defense been able to hold the cpu to under 80-90 points consistently. (ever, actually)

I'm not sure if it's tempo or pace of game thats causing this lack of disparity in scoring, and it's not ruining the game for me necessarily, BUT I would like to know if there are other OS'ers who are experiencing this lack of variance?

This isn't a complaint thread, I feel the game is great, but I did want to DISCUSS this potential issue.

Re: Game to game variance.

Well, regardless of the tempo since CPU don't really use much of the shot clock. All they do is drive, stop at the free throw area and fades away and boom 2 points and they don't miss even with Close Shot at 30. I rarely see scoring drought in game, I mean I see at least 2-3 minutes scoring drought but it's more me than CPU which sucks at times especially holding the lead.

What difficulty are you guys playing on ? The CPU could be more aggressive with 3 point shots Sliders might help though

Re: Game to game variance.

Yeah every game feels almost the same. Cpu runs the shot clock down to atleast 5secs majority of the time.

Then again i only play .500 and over teams. Ive held a few teams under 80 but it was pure luck on superstar. Cpu has no chance on allstar no matter the rating bump i give them.

Not a complaint because i do like the game. Fixing most of the cpu issues(midrange/putbacks) would result in cpu getting blown out every game. Cpu just cant keep up without the bs and thats the biggest issue.

I think I may, and then adjust sliders for fatigue.

I didnt have this issue with the game last year though. Kinda makes me sad as I don't really like messing with sliders because it turns into a never ending tinker.
