Is there a way to get rid of potential? (MyGM)

I'm in season 3 so far and scrub players are getting like ^8 or ^12 points because I have the progression feature unlocked. It's totally unrealistic and annoying.

I believe you can unequip GM upgrades.

That's the downside to MyGM, large user boosts and less control/customization. All you can do is not take the boosts, but iirc you have to select a boost when you "level up."

If you want to avoid this, MyLeague is the way to go.

You don't have to equip a single boost if you don't want. I generally just sim on mygm and try to stack my team, no biggie.

Good to know! I still don't like dealing with the whining about training, but that alone makes the mode much more playable for me.
