What's your reasoning here? More or less all other courts, except for Boston and NY, have been fixed, even though they don't have Lebron.

Licensing fees are the most likely reason why MSG/TD Garden are missing in NBA2k15. I've always wondered how 2kSports was able to license so many arenas in the College Hoops 2k series, yet miss arenas in their NBA2k series.

Either they charge more since it's the actual Knicks floor that they are paying to license or the NCAA probably licensed the arena and had a clause stating any college game could feature the name of the arena. Just throwing out theories but I know for certain they are charging too much otherwise these would've been in games a lot sooner. Kind of similar to how LeBron didn't get on a cover until 2k14 because he was charging so much and if 2k didn't take off like it did after 2k10 I don't think they'd ever have spent the money.

If it's just fees, then 2k can definitely afford it now. This series has made a ton of money the last 5yrs and we deserve 100% authenticity.

As for the generic names, I'm guessing it's not so much a matter of money as it is I a matter of EA having the exclusive rights to MSG and TD Garden. Court colors are off but indeed but nothing terrible IMO. Some licensed arena courts actually look worse (Barclays Center, for instance)
