Play Calling Questions

Is there a way to streamline the play calling options a bit? I find it a bit overwhelming at times for some players. For example, I'll see 4 pages of stuff and not be sure what type of play im calling.

For many players I don't need anymore than 2-3 pages max

Re: Play Calling Questions

You can add and remove plays for each player. You can also set it to auto to run plays for you plus your points of emphasis will dictate what type of plays are automatically called. Then you also got your freelance, motion, spacing and quick sets.

Re: Play Calling Questions

Also, you can opt to give every player one set of plays to make it simpler. Maybe you just want your PG to have PR Ball Handler or your big man to only have Low Post plays.

I just want some sets that are easy for me to remember that utilize the player's main strengths

Agreed OP. I find voice control to be the easiest way to play call, although it's lacking in the play types you can call (limited to pick and roll, 3 pointer, post play, and isolation).

Being able to call a play type by position (ie: pick and roll curry) is so much easier than sifting through 4 pages of plays by name and having no clue what type of play I'm running.

I never thought of this probably because my wife would immediately tell me to shut up and "why do you keep yelling pick and roll? What the hell are you doing in there?"
