I also cannot equip my shoes (I have a deal) in my career. Is this a related issue? This happened after I started a second my career. My player with the deal cannot equip shoes. Can equip them but the change doesn't take affect when I leave the menu.

Yep it's related. I hope it doesn't need a patch. I just got my shoe deal too

Just got my deal too. I was wondering why they wouldn't equip. I thought maybe another cut scene was coming soon or something. lol. This is good to know, but it sucks. I'm tired of wearing those generics.

That was the only reason I played my player...for the shoe deal and now they are all gone. I even tweeted Ronnie 2k...no response.

I logged on today and all my shoes were there, played a game, then I wasn't able to see all the Nikes or equip shoes again. I think they're getting close to fixing this, I hope.
