Can't change shoes after patch??

So for some reason after the patch came out, I can no longer change my MyPlayer's shoes. I go into the menu and equip new shoes for either home or away, it shows it's saving, but when I go back to the shot of my player sitting in the gym or play an actual game, the original pair are still on. When I go in to change them again, of course it shows the original, unchanged pair, as if I never changed. I've tried multiple times. Anyone else experience this or know a solution?
