After Patch 3 - Why do I Have to Resync Coming From Home?

Xbox One btw. Before the patch everything was great, I was able to go into my friend's list with ease, invite people to parties, etc. Able to get right back into the game. But now, it has to "resync" everytime I even hit the home button and go back to the game. This can last anywhere from 30 sec to 2 minutes. I've never been more annoyed in my life. Anybody else experiencing this?

I'm seeing this on X1 also. Mostly see it when I select Home to join or invite parties. Some times it's normal, other times I'm waiting minutes. I always get the scrolling save icon in the lower right.

It may have to do with the networking issues. Just have to see.

The thing is I've never experienced this before the patch. Who in their right mind thought that this was a good idea? I believe this is what is causing most of the park/stage/rec games to crash and never start. Never was a problem before, but now more often than ever does the game not start.
