Pick and rolls ALWAYS get intercepted?

Is it just me or is it next to impossible to run a simple pick and roll in this game? The big man seems to fumble the ball half the time and stumble out of bounds, or the CPU seems to teleport into the passing lanes from the other side of the court the other half.

Seems like isolations are still the best way to score without turning the ball over... any tips for making the P&R actually WORK on a regular basis?

Are you making the pass from an efficient angle?

Are you using bounce passes?

Catching on the move is hard man.

not really a problem for me. sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. just like real life. depends on how the defense goes about stopping it. if the defense cuts off your pick and roll, simply don't make the pass and run another play or another pick. that's the cool thing about this game - you don't get the same results every time. there is variety to how the AI defenders defend the same play or pick.

one thing that has helped me on picks is to not hold turbo as i move around the pick. simply use the left stick. this will give you a little more control over your player and prevent you from turbo-ing way out of position and ruining the passing angle.

Yes, the Defense anticipates passes to the roll-man pretty good. But you need to look: The one intercepting the passes always is someone helping from the weakside. That means, when the CPU closes down the pass to the roll-man, someone on the weakside has to be open. Find him and you will have an open shot!

A normal pass or a bounce pass get intercepted way too much
I found ou flashy pass to the roll man is way more effective ..its bull**** but it s effective tho

Well, I normally play as the Pistons and the Brandon Jennings - Andre Drummond pick-and-roll is deadly. The key is patience. After the big man sets the screen, don't turbo/run around it. Move around it and then read the defense. If they hedged and left the screener open, pass it to him for the easy dunk. If the screen worked and your defender got caught, attack the basket. And if a help defender rotated into the paint, hit the open man for the three.

They Won't Always Work. It depends on who's running It as well.

It's about the angles. One thing that gets me often though is when I do have the angle but my player decides to do a bounce pass for no reason. It's about doing what defense gives you. Often times you don't have the angle to make a straight pass but do have one for alley-oop.

You can also back out and try again if nothing is there.
