Dear NBA 2K,
We need some things back in my career for 2K16 please don't look over this.
1.Draft Combine and Summer League
This is a must have if you want this to be realistic. Starting off with the draft Combine gives us the opportunity to mold our player into a future star and find out where we fit on NBA teams. After combine we should work out with top three interested teams and be drafted. Summer League Should be used to gives us a chance to win the starting job by opening night just like in real life.

2. We should have the right to wear any shoe in game if we pay for them just like in real life. Once we sign a shoe deal that brand should be made free and then we start working on signature shoe

3. We need to select our own jerseys

How about choices what you should do for the night. Kinda like in the old NCAA games. For instance, you could practice or work on your game, if you did that then your next game you would get a bonus for your attributes. Or you could go out with friends/teammates, when you do that option you get added popularity which could lead up to better sponsorships, which then could lead to gear that gives you a bonus to your attributes. I would love for that to be in 2k16.

Oh two more things would be those mini games, like around the world or driving in the paint, those should be featured more, and please make the dunk contests into its old format from last year

1.) Compression pants, shorts and tanks.
2.) More accessories, the ability to stack them and sock options (for damn sake)
3.) More tattoo options with the ability to connect and form sleeves.
4.) The ability to view your playbook, assign plays to players and/or change your playbook (like 2k14...)
5.) Alternate jersey selection or random occurance.
6.) Ability to replace generated rookies with MC players from friends list, randomly selected or "popular" list for selection (the ability to choose a YTer you like's MC player to dump in the league for example)

-Ability to skip the cut-scenes and the forced practices after games

- More control over everything- like in My League. Let me control the jersey, socks, the plays, the defensive pressure, the rotation, the tempo, etc. Everything. Yes- it breaks from the spirit of My Career- but it would make the game more fun to play. Watching the CPU sub in your backups with four minutes to play in a tightly contested game- or leave your best player off the floor in the final five minutes is tough to take.

- Ability to shorten the season. 58 games is still plenty of games to play.

- Ability to rest on the bench if the game is a blowout- without having to sim and forfeit VC earned

The ability to deny or "turn off" an earned badge.

Matchmaking option in the park/rec.

Ability to turn off cutaway scenes completely.

No attribute caps for offline play.

Making the playoff stats accessible, and also having a separate "Career Playoff Stats" to accompany the regular season stats.

Have all accessories available, including socks.

More accessories in general, or at least more colors.

Dumb down the AI's when a player quits online. And also a much more stringent penalty for those that do quit (hopefully be able to separate the guys who lag out).

More badges (the more the merrier IMO).

Choice to be a free agent or trying to get drafted.

Dumb down the AI's when a player quits online. And also a much more stringent penalty for those that do quit (hopefully be able to separate the guys who lag out).

If you lag out no loss of Rep but if you quit you lose rep. I hate lagging out of a Rec game and losing about a whole bar for it.

Make our teammates more smart on offense/defense and play better.

Better Hairstyles, Accessories, Sock Option, Tattoo Sleeves, different Body types/Skin tones.

Make Weight more important when it comes to make our player. The bigger you are, the more easy it is for you to male contact shots but your speed is reduce. The smaller you are the faster you move but you make less contact shot.

Have more after game press conference and allow us to dress how we want in them. you have players that don't dress causal in them but in 2k we have to be casual.

We recently had a 75% off on shoes and TBH I feel those prices are shoes are really good and not crazy like 7k+. 1k-3k is good with the occasional 6k shoe is understandable and not crazy.

Be able to choose how your career starts. Top 5 pick, lotto, 1st round, 2nd round, undrafted. Play Summer League. Late picks that don't show enough can be sent to D league. Or young underperforming players can be too.
Higher pick starts with better rating but there's more pressure to play good. Market size matters as well such as playing bad is a bigger thing in New York as opposed to Milwaukee.
Make it hard to put up good numbers on HOF. It shouldn't be easy to get 25 points even as a good player. The team might not want you to take a lot of shots early on. So you may only get 8-12 shots and bad shots will be a bigger negative.
In terms of tiers-
A top pick would start higher and progress faster in some areas but slower in others. Likely start from day 1. Play 25-30 minutes per
2nd round to undrafted would start with lower overall but progress faster. So theoretically people would all be 99 at the same time
And minutes wise you may not get bigger minutes or a bigger role that fast. You'd have to better your overall with points you earn from drills and practice to get more PT.
And make injuries possible if you don't up your injury rating.
Make a way to get badges without having to cheese
And if it 76-50 in the 4th and you're starting. It's time to chill on the bench not be out there in the 4th.

-Completely Redo the attribute system, this current one has no customization at all.
-Allow us to use actual "community made" draft classes instead of generating random rookies.
-Get rid of the "2K" shoe crap, allow us to use any shoe in the game. After we get our shoe deal then we should be locked in to whoever you sign with.
- Bring back old badges + add more. Things like "Catch and Shoot" or "Finisher" would be a breath of fresh air!
-Allow us to remove badges if wanted. Some badges in my opinion are not needed/makes things worse rather than better.
-Better body types/Tattoos/HAIRSTYLES
-Rework Allstar Weekend activities. (The Allstar game is fine) However the Dunk and 3PT contest is not good at all.

Thats all I can think of for now, i'll be back with better ideas.

Every jersey or pair of shorts that are available within the normal game should be available for purchase in My Park. Including alternates and throwbacks. Mitchell & Ness is officially NBA licensed so I don't see why this would be an issue.

More diversity when it comes to accessories. You should be locked into Adidas or generic accessories when playing NBA games, but outside of the NBA you should be able to wear other brands accessories, much like in real life. More NBA brand, Adidas, Nike, and Under Armour gear should be added for Career and Park.

Better and more detailed ankle braces. The current ones just look like thick socks...





Scanning of actual pairs of sneakers instead of slapping textures on an existing generic model. NBA Live is destroying you in this area.

Legit and realistic tattoos and tattoo sleeves. The current tattoo selection is awful and on par with temporary tattoos you'd find in a 25 cent machine. Allow us to use tattoos from current NBA player scans if need be.

That's everything off the top of my head at the moment.

This is a pretty long list but this is what I would like to see

-In those team practices we should practice the system that the coach uses( learning to run the triangle, princeton, etc.) instead of doing some random task and the coach getting pissed off yelling at you.

-I don't mind the cutscenes but I don't want to have the same story as everybody else. Let me choose my own path and form my own story. Let us choose our agent and background (unknown prospect, college star etc.) if we're a top prospect more agents should be interested in us and if we're an unknown player we will get bad agents something similar to what the older madden games had. I remember in madden 07 & Madden 08 we could choose our agent and it impacted our career (what teams would draft us, endorsement deals, and free agency). This would impact our endorsements and what teams are interested in us. We can also drop our agent at any time and switch agents or maybe the agent drops you.

-Add more Voices im tired of having the same voice from 2k11. Maybe I create a Player from a different country let him have an accent.

-Draft combine that can be skipped (Wiggins, Parker, and Embiid skipped it) so those that want to get into the mode faster can. In the draft let us go in the 1st or 2nd rounds or even go undrafted. Also make it possible to get drafted #1 overall the last time it was possible was back in 2k13 when Chris smoove did it... since then it's been impossible to get picked first.

Also after the draft give me a introductory press conference with the team that picked me if I get drafted in the 1st round.

-Summer league and preseason to help build our overalls that can also be skipped. Playing in the preseason can help determine your minutes and if you play well impressing the coach it could make you the starter right out the gate.

-Promotions/Demotions from the D-league throughout the season. If you play SF for OKC or PG for the Clippers you won't be seeing much NBA action because you are playing backup for KD or CP3 since they are stars. The D-league would help being sent down to develop or if you're just horrible you will be sent down like in 2k10. MLB the show does this well if you're a struggling rookie or playing behind a star and have a bench role you would split time between AAA and the MLB level during the season.

-Shoe deals. We should be able to sign a shoe deal with ANY company in the game. Signing a contract for X amount of years and X amount of money just so you won't be stuck with a company forever. In addition to Nike/Jordan, and Adidas we should also be able to sign conracts with Reebok, Peak, Converse, Under armour, Spalding, Anta, and Li-ning since they are all in the game. You would get either a 10% or 25% discount on buying that companies shoes and also you would get billboards,commercials and create your own signature shoe. Also let us wear ANY shoe without a shoe deal. The shoe deal you get depends on how good your agent is and how good of a player you are (ex a 65 ovr player that's on the bench won't get a deal with Jordan..) A better Agent will get you the signature shoe faster.

-Offseason. In the offseason we should be able to workout our player with a legend. Recruit other players and form a BIG 3/Fantastic 4/Justice league. We should also know what is going on around the league like who won the finals, retirements, and FA signings.

-Free agency. In Free agency we should be able to see who is on the roster. It's painful when you sign a long term deal and play with a bunch of scrubs. Contract negotiations should also be in let us choose X amount of years for X amount of money similar to MLB the show but depending on how good your agent is and how interested the team is you will not always get what you want. Also let me have a special like "The Decision" If I'm a superstar in the league I want the Lebron James treatment.

-Euroleague. We should be able to play overseas in the Euroleague. What if you went undrafted and can't get the attention of any NBA team and don't want to play in the D-league. Your player is old and no NBA team wants to sign him or your player acts like Stephon Marbury burns a lot of bridges, known as a cancer in the locker room and the NBA wants nothing to do with you. Playing in the Euroleague should be an option.

Since it's Rated E change the champagne to Sprite or Gatorade!

If I'm a SF let me call plays if I have a point forward.

Player body types. Skinnny/buff, tall/short. If I'm taller I should run slower but I make more shots.

The location of a team impacting your popularity. If I choose to play in a bigger market like New York or LA I will have higher expectations and more pressure to help the team make the playoffs every year. If I choose to play in a smaller market like Utah I will have less pressure on me. Also I might become more popular and well known If I play in a bigger market than a smaller one.

Give us some commentary during the draft.

Coach sit downs.
I would really like to sit down with the coach and discuss my minutes. Something similar to the GM sit downs in 2k13 but this time with the coach.
"Hey coach I've been playing well off the bench maybe I should get more playing time." or "I've been playing too much and it's harming the team I think you should give someone else a shot."

When you want someone else to get more minutes because you play well with them.

"Yo coach you should give X more time he really helps a lot late in games and can help us get a lot more W's you should really give him more minutes.

In games I would really like an option to be taken out of a game when the coach never subs you out and you have no stamina would really be helpful when the coach goes crazy with minutes.

To add to my earlier suggestions and to the quoted:
Certain, more elite badges should be difficulty based (adding to quotes suggestion). Ie. Shot creator can only be earned in HOF etc..

The ability to request rest from the coach. Being forced to play when you're tired or when you have a 20 point lead is ridiculous.

Ability to select your taunt after your contact dunks or extreme physical plays. Being based on badges is cool on paper but when you can't control your personality badges it's meh.

Ability to select "random" for certain signature animations such as size-ups. Each game or walk up brings a new move as most NBA players don't stick with one size up.

Ability to practice at will with teammates. Control the practice as well. Work on getting teammates ratings up, run plays to test them or practice different defense formations etc...

Fix to CPU reactions where they catch blocks that fell from the waist before they hit the ground. More defensive rebounds and misses from both ends to make the games much lower scoring with 12 minute quarters going back and forth on breaks like a real game. Or at least make simulation option like this. Getting tired of destroying the HOF CPU by 20 points.

More to come but I really like my earlier suggestion to handle generated rookies. Allow us to pull friends MC players or popular ones to put in the league to make it more exciting. Load their tendencies and ratings upon network connection.

I'm sorry but that's crap. Why should you have to play on HOF to earn a badge. Why should someone have to completely change the way you way play the game in order to earn some badges. I would be OK if you had to play on higher difficulties in order to upgrade all of the badges. But to earn them that's stupid.

Draft combine for sure.

I liked the idea of the stat caps and having to unlock them the more you play...but certain ones shouldn't be tied together (speed/quickness+dunking)

More dribbles/isos/hesis/etc tied with ball handling stat, just like better dunks are with a higher dunk rating.

Add the d league back, if you play bad you go down there for a few games. If you play good enough you get a call back.
Don't make it so easy either. Make us have to get an A rating to stay on our team, actually make it feel like we have to work to get that roster spot.

Bring back asking for trades for different players, signing free agents, etc. If we're the star on the team obviously they want our input..maybe even on rookies.

More accessories. More color options (home/away colors for every team)

Maybe wear suits in the cutscenes instead of the park clothes?

Lots more but I can't think right now lol
