What do I need to do?!?!?!

Upgraded my hard drive and had to reinstall 2k15.
I'm on a PS4 and am using the DISC
I insert disc, let it copy, then check for updates. Let updates download and install.
Once done, I star game and get heat vs spurs.
I let the game play and get back to menu to start heat vs spurs game again with the message that I have updates needing to be installed....
What do I need to do?
I have tried deleting and reinstalling game.
Letting it sit for over 24 hours.
Installed game, start game, start updates then try game again.
I have let it sit at Playstation menu with game open in background.
I've let it sit at playstation menu with game closed.
I've let it sit in the games menu.
Nothing seems to be working.
It's now been a few days and I still can't get to play this game....
Any pointers???

PS. I notice that it seems to only install 1.03 update. Does it have to install 1.01 and 1.02 first? Because it doesn't seem to actually install anything but 1.03
I was told theres a patch included on the disc as well, is this possibly not installing?

Is nba the only game giving you issues since installing the new HD? If it's just nba , I would try booting it up in safe mode and rebuild the database and try that again, if still don't work, maybe re-install the system software from USB. I haven't seen an issues like yours before, has me worried cause I too probably gonna upgrade my HD in my PS4 soon.

Yes, this is the only one giving me issues.
BUT, I've gotten it resolved.
It was the disc.
I got the disc from a family member and their disc finished it up in about 10 minutes(not SURE it was the disc, or the fact that it was on for 24 hours and just so happened to finish up 10 minutes after using another disc).
Funny thing is, my cousins disc was all scratched up, and mine had not a scratch on it, yet his worked, and mine didn't smh.

I didn't need to delete and reinstall with his disc. I just left it installed from my disc, and his got me past the menu that my disc had left me stuck on smh...

if still don't work, maybe re-install the system software from USB.
