Would carry over saves interest you?

With MLB The Show 15 about to release in the next month or so they are going to have a feature that allows users to carry over saves (Franchise + Race to the Show) for the first time, ever!

Would this be something you utilize if it were to become available?

You could truly play 20-30 seasons over the course of several years with this game. It would encourage those people who have NBA 2K15 to buy NBA 2K16 without losing their current progress.

If you play MyPlayer you could finish out your Iron Man career going 20+ seasons deep in the league building your legacy.

I'm completely biased as I'm 100% supportive of a feature like this.

What is the thought of the 2K community?

*If there is a thread out there I did use the search feature and didn't see anything in the past 4 months*

Absolutely yes.

OOTP does this and it's an amazing feature.

I also want to be able to backup my save files, for obvious reasons.

I'd love to see them add this.

I'm not 100% sure that I would use it because I don't always use the same team and I like seeing the rookies each year, etc. However, the more options the better.

First off I would love to know what this Race to the Show is??? But I would be all for carry over saves. It is easily the greatest feature that the Show is "implementing" this year. Yes it was announced for 14 but we have no idea how the feature is going to work. Will there be any debilitating bugs that come with it? Also one thing that any company should have is to carry over roster saves. To save the projects such as SimWorld, the Trifecta project, etc. a lot of time in creating their rosters every year. These two projects usually take a month or so to be complete and with a roster carry over function it could take only a couple of weeks or so.

Re: Would carry over saves interest you?

Please!!!!! I play every game in myleague. And i love to build my team over several seasons. Therefore i sometimes pass up the new game and keep playing the old one. So i think even moneywise 2k has nothing to lose. I would buy the game every year and would continue myleague. That would really be a great feature. And it can be done - see MLB.

Honestly, I don't know.
My dude is 94 rated and has accomplished everything already. I don't know if I'd continue on with this guy any more. I think I would want a new challenge.

Re: Would carry over saves interest you?

Between school and work I get maybe 2 seasons out of most career modes because I play the entire season so without a doubt carried over saves would further my interest in career modes.
