Shooting

If anyone wants an example of how broken shooting is this year for myplayers, watch a Chris Smoove myteam vid where he hits perfect release after perfect release with a range of different players, then watch one of his mycareer vids where perfect releases are as rare as rocking horse teeth.

And that's with the jumpshot he's been using forever.

Shooting

MyTeam is like on Pro or something. It's easy as hell. I am dropping 30+ a game with Lavine and hitting perfects w/ players I've never played w/ before.

Most likely he's playing on HOF-SIM in MyCareer. You won't get many perfect releases on that. I don't agree w/ your point, but I do believe shooting should go back to how it used to be.

Thats cause he plays MyCareer on HOF.

That might explain it, but he's even made several references to the shooting being off in MC. Playing on HoF shouldn't ruin shooting. I didn't have the game prior to patch 3, but people have suggested it wasn't this messed up before.

Re: Shooting

I'll add - If I'm hitting that white line, with either no daylight in early, or no overhang for late, then I expect a perfect release. Otherwise that white line is too subjective and doesn't give the user enough information.

Re: Shooting

i actually love the way shooting is this year when playing on a higher difficulty. it makes it much more realistic IMO. you shouldnt be hitting every jumpshot, even if wide open.

my problem with shooting this year is that i make more contested and just stupid shots then i do wide open shots. which is starting to get annoying.
