Re: Mike Wang "@Beluba" appreciation thread

Puuh...After couple of games now, it is really hard to like it anymore...

I only play online games in different leagues. The games end in 3pt shootouts. Where games pre-patch ended with scores like 85:78, they now end 130:120 sometimes...Every open shot goes in. EVERY shot, that is some kind of open. Also defense has gotten much more difficult to do. It is way harder to stay in front of the ballhandler, because you cannot build up contact to the ballhandler.

It is really no fun playing a game of 3pt shootouts against each other where no defense is possible...

Re: Mike Wang "@Beluba" appreciation thread

I hate to say this, but unless someone is blatantly cheesing, playing good defense and contesting shots isn't hard. You can't just stand in front of someone or slightly to the side and expect that to be counted as 'contested.' And if you actually do put your hands up or jump, if you watch the NBA, you know that some contested shots are just going to fall, that's the nature of the beast. However, if you keep up good defense, eventually the opponent will being to miss and start shooting himself out of the game.

Offline users really just need to stop complaining. First off, bump it up to HoF and adjust sliders if the game is 'too easy.' Hell, even before the patch, Superstar was ridiculously easy, and I'd actually have to scale back in order to actually get a challenge out of the game. Only reason I kept it on Superstar to begin with was to get used to the shot timing for the Rec.

The post-patch shooting online actually made the game fun again, and far less frustrating. It's a massive relief knowing that shots have a tendency to fall at a somewhat consistent rate again, instead of 'Oh, no perfect release? BRICK!' That started getting old, fast.

Lemme jump on the bandWangon real quick here.

Just got into RTTP again after a long while and I never had this much fun with this mode in 2K15.

Granted it was just the 6th seed, but seeing my ball movement and open shots rewarded with lots of buckets and perfect releases was a real pleasure. And for once, it felt like me playing lockdown on ball defense and my opponent just chilling with his C was an advantage for me and not for him, while up to last week it was the other way around.

Maybe offline isn't perfect, but I agree that you can still correct it with sliders. Online needed a bigger fix, and so far Patch 4 delivers.

Thanks Beluba.

No game is perfect, but our gameplay dev's are the best in the biz.

This is a PUBLIC promise that I will buy Mike W. some Chick-fil-A for lunch sometime.

Does it feel like that HOF cheats? Pre patch I found superstar kinda cheesy and have been playing all star. After the new patch I find SS pretty easy now....
