Is there any way to make your mycareer player's shot tendency go up?

I'm currently an 84 overall in the beginning of season five, and I'm sick my player shooting under 10 times a game during simulated games (with BOSTON, a team filled with low shot tendency). Is there any way to manipulate this? Perhaps increasing the crazy expensive inside scoring?

Anyone? I'm not touching this mode again if I'll be stuck averaging 14 a game no matter how good I get.

It would be great if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can change the tendencies of your player, or at least I haven't been able to. I have created over 10 MyPlayers and they all have the same tendencies. The only difference is that my players' shot tendencies were always 99, and they would usually average 25-35 Pts per simulated game. I haven't looked into this in a long time though since I've basically only played online since January..

I'm currently a 97 overall, I don't know my shot tendency. When I sim, I'm usually at/around my career average of 17 FGA and 27.9(-2 from when I play) ppg. In simmed games where my player doesn't take many FGs, he's usually at the FT line a lot or he has double digit assists and Kemba, Big Al, Millsap, Stephenson or Hairston are having big games. It has been this way for me since I was a mid 80s player. A few questions I would have for you are, what is your team chemistry rating, and do you have the 'On court Coach' or 'Alpha Dog' badges?

Thanks for the responses guys. A little more info on my player might help. His attribute packages are currently levels 14/13/17/0/13/9, and despite being the best player on the team, he's averaging 13/8.5 on 57% shooting in roughly 33 minutes per simulated game this season.

Team chemistry is currently a 76. I don't have either of those badges, due to a minimal playmaker rating and I only play 8-10 games a season. I was considering going for 'Volume Shooter', but I just dont attempt more than 20-22 shots a game in 12 minute quarters.

Try shooting more in the games that you do play. IIRC your player's tendencies are altered based on how you play during the games you don't sim but I could be wrong though.

Just took 30 shots in my last game hoping you were correct. My next simulated game? 1-4 in 33 minutes. This is such bs if I wasted all that vc for this.
