What I mean by register is when you use intense d for shot contest, you may be out of position and when you go into the contest animation it will still be considered a open shot, you'll hear the announcers say it's a open jumper too. Intense d is works well when you're in postion, same for hands up if you're not in position you're basically leaving the shooter open regardless of contest animation. So it's not that hands up or intense d doesn't work it's just you have to be in position to make them effective. To answer the question lol, use what's best for you I'm currently on manual contest.

No problem man, I even made a private playlist for the lockdown defense part so that if I get rusty I can just revert back to your videos. Thanks for the answer, I understand what you are saying lol.

Have you been able to get that animation online when no screen is set? I try to use it vs side to side guys when on the same side as a rim protecter. I can defend the side the side i just feel like when there that predictable i should be able to force them to pick up thier dribble.... Wish list mabye?

No, but if a guy is zig zagging best bet is to go off ball and switch as he's about to shoot, so you can get the user shot contest bonus, seems like contested shots will drop online if it's the cpu contesting them, but user shot contest drops the shot percentage further than cpu defenders.

This is no advertising ,but if you love post offense like me, you got to go to jerseymade's channel and watch this:

and this for more detailed breakdown:

and if you like to play faceup in the post this:

There is a whole bible of tips and moves(read and react ones) depending on situation and position(low post, mid high post, elbows).

Even though there is a lot of material, i have a wish for jersey ,if possible to make a video on how to utilize guards and wings in the post/elbow iso and how to smoothly chain iso moves with post moves(ala joe johnson) e.g. comboing the faceup drive with the spin layup or post drives to dribble moves etc.
