Why does lag happen on defense but not offense ??

On defense I can't control my defender at all sometimes because of lag, how come this doesn't happen when I am the ball handler ??

Ikr and defense is already a little slow without the lag

For me it's the other way around lately

I notice it esp. when you try to manual shot contest, seems like even with maxed defense your player is slow to do the "hands up" type shot contest animation;this happens all the time.

The only time i really notice it on offense is on certain baseline reverse moves, its like everyone once in a while on these the whole game lags up mid move almost always resulting in the ball being chucked into the bottom of the rim.

It's super noticeable when playing in MC, because you can only control one player. Defense in 2k15 just flat out sucks now. The input lag, the sliding, the lack of the ability to create contact on CPU ballhandlers, all of those stupid animations after a bucket, and losing control of your player sometimes completely kills the effectiveness of defense.

The higher the difficult the less response you get playing the game. the logic that 2k have, is to make things difficult and hard on those levels. in other words they will cripple you and your team mates.
